DYVIM SLORM Profile: Appointed by Prince Yyrkoon as the acting leader of the Legion of Imrryr, Dyvim Slorm was tasked with recruiting and commanding the Melnibonéan vanguard to obtain information about the strength of the Britannian forces for the upcoming invasion by the warriors of the Dragon Isle. The eldest son of Dyvim Tvar, the Lord of the Dragon Caves, Dyvim Slorm spent his youth in the Dragon Caves of Imrryr with his father, learning all he could about dragonkind. Based upon his father's service under and friendship with Lord Elric, as well as his father's inherent mistrust of Prince Yyrkoon's motives and unbridled ambition, Yyrkoon's appointment of Dyvim Slorm as the Legion's vanguard commander came as a surprise. Upon recommendation of his father, Dyvim Slorm nonetheless accepted the commission, hoping to find Lord Elric in the Young Kingdoms and inform him of Prince Yyrkoon's current ambitions to conquer Britannia and win over the remaining nobility still loyal to Elric. With only his faithful servant, Sartor Rasmuh, Slorm set forth through the shade gate to find Elric and assess the war-might of Britannia and to recruit an invasion force of mercenaries. After months of searching, Slorm found Lord Elric resting in the eternal city of Tanelorn, and warned him of Yyrkoon's treachery. It appeared that Elric had found some peace at long last within Tanelorn's fabled sanctuary. Elric introduced Slorm to the aristocracy and protectors of Tanelorn, the Gray Corps, and persuaded Slorm to join them -- for a time -- to defend the city. Being of noble birth in the House of Dyvim, Dyvim Slorm enjoyed the luxuries associated with Melnibonéan nobility, including extensive training in the sorcerous arts, education in the lands beyond the shores of Melniboné, and tutoring in team battle tactics. Bred as the successor to his father, Dyvim Slorm aspires one day to be appointed by Lord Elric as the Lord of the Dragon Caves. Patron: Duke Arioch of Chaos, the Knight of Swords Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Secondary Training: Sorcery
