JUBEI NAKIMURA

Profile:  Born in the fair city of Trinsic, the city of Paladins, Jubei Nakimura was the son of Keiko and Ruroni Nakimura.  Ruroni sat on the city council as a dignitary and paladin, teaching Jubei and his siblings -- his brothers Akira and Tetsuo and sister Reiko -- about the ways of both politics and honour.  While his brothers and sisters chose different professions upon adulthood, Jubei followed in the path of his father, serving as a paladin in Lord British's Order Guard, and eventually being promoted to Captain of the Guard to the Honourable Senator Robin of Lord British's Senate.

With Lord British's departure from Britannia, the Senate disbanded, leaving a vacuum of leadership and a land divided by factions and chaos.  The Lords of Law who once gave counsel to the paladins of Order no longer answered his prayers, all while the powers of the Swords-Trio (Lords Arioch, Xiombarg and Mabelode of Chaos) seemed to grow stronger.  Understanding from his studies in philosophy and theology that there must be balance in the multiverse, Jubei sought to find the eternal city of Tanelorn.

His young charge, Calliope, a druid with remarkable talent for music and an affinity for nature's creatures, led him to Tanelorn and introduced him to the Gray Corps.  Jubei now resides in Tanelorn, and teaches what he has learned during his many years of travel and service to Lord British.
